Three months down three weeks to go!

so i have been doing a biggest loser competition these last three months jan 1st to april 6th. we did it on percentages so it would be fair to the people who didn't have very much weight to lose. we had a first second and third place winner. the 1st place got 350 2nd 220 and 3rd got 130 we each put in 50 bucks. boy i can i first say im so glad its over!! i started out at 145.5 and ended at 126.2 sweet huh i lost 19.2 pds and lots of inches. i can now proudly say I CAN WEAR MY CLOTHES I WAS WEARING WHEN I DATED JUSTIN!! i kept a lot of them so glad i did now too they fit a little differently now from my body changing from having two kids which i gained 65 pds each pregancie. i got 3RD PLACE!!! at least i won my money back it was pretty close too their were six of us who were all neck and neck working are pretty tails off to the end i got 3rd by the hair of my chinny chin chin. i need to take a picture and post it maybe this saturday justin can take one of me before we go out to eat! ha ha

Now for the three weeks. In 3 weeks i will be running my first half marathon!! so crazy! i never thought in a million years i would have the endurance to run a half marathon but last week i ran 9 miles and this week i will run 10 on saturday so crazy i ran for 1 and 30 minutes last week so crazy who runs that long? anyway i have really enjoyed running and reaching new goals. after starting running i feel like im part of club now the runners club i have made so many friends that do all these crazy competitions they help to keep going. im thinking of doing a sprint triathlon next that sounded less scary than a full triathlon. and their are some biking races that sound fun too! ive found this new found world of racing and im addicted it makes working out so much more fun.

Im so not good with updating my blog. sorry
So Eli is now 5 months old well Monday he will be. He is so big it's so crazy to me that he is already so big. He just had his 4 month check last week and his stats are
85% weight 17.5 pds
85% height 26.5 inches
62% for his head

he is big all the way around he's my big chunk. its so funny to me jace was skinny skinny skinny and still is they are so different jace scared my away from having more children and eli makes me want more because now i know that Jace as a baby wasn't normal. Jace is so sweet with Eli i thought that he was going go backwards as many children do and be mean and jealous. but he is as sweet as can be and as been since day one it makes it so much easier. He brings me Eli's binkies and blankets and bottles mostly when i don't need them but he thinks he is helping and it almost makes me cry every time it happens cause i love it so much! Its funny sometimes jace will lay in the bouncer and put Eli blanket over him to be like his brother because i don't have the heart to stop him i now need a new bouncer for my next baby i don't care it was worth it to me! Jace will also take is hand like i do and do i love sweep over Eli head and hair it's soo cute i hope they grow up to enjoy each other like they do now. Eli laughs and laughs at jace he thinks he is soo funny i love watching him watching jace.

More news justin started a new job a sit down dress nice kind he started this week and loves it so far. its funny one of the first things he said when he came home the first night was this is so weird i don't have to go shower right away from being filthy i can just sit down and relax right away! i thought that was so funny true but funny I'm so happy for him this job right here was the whole reason justin went back school and got his 4yr degree so he could go get a different job. We have been blessed so much!

As for me I'm just trying to stay alive i decided to test my self to my core and run a half marathon on April 23rd with my sister and couple of friends. I'm really excited about training i have never run farther than probably 4 and half miles so I'm way nervous but I'm excited about reaching my goal it lets me focus on something for me my own little escape from being mommy 24/7. and in the mean time getting me back in shape! it's funny i was running with my friend and we looked at each other we had been running for 30 minutes so far and about to stop and she said do you know when we run the half marathon we will have been running for 2hrs straight if we run at this pace. i started to laugh because that sounds soo crazy to me i couldn't fathom my self running for two hrs it seems impossible yet i know that whats will happen if i keep training.so crazy well this are update for now hopefully i will be better over this next month! :)

Eli's Blessing

We blessed Eli this month on December 5Th he was 3 months old when he blessed him which was how old jace was when we blessed him only jace looked like a 3 month old. Eli looks like a 6 month old. He is such i toad i love it he is smiling and laughing at his older brother all day long i love it. so at his blessing we got to our ward 35 minutes early to get a good spot well little did i know our ward people bring baskets and blankets and bags to save spot's as early as an hour before no one is their just their stuff so crazy i was so shocked when i got their and we were still sitting on the very back bench of the bench's it was so crazy! well i know now ha ha

we all know that in my Marshall family we never do things smoothly.. their is always a hiccup well their was a blessing right before Eli and when it was all quiet Eli farts and i mean huge fart like people all around us heard him and were trying not to laugh and then right after he pooped and farted one of those you know then the blessing was over and it was Eli turn no time to change him he got blessed poopy and very very stinky! ha ha all my brothers and Justin loved the smell while they were with him it was soo funny

All around he is a big boy! i love it he totally different than jace so funny his big fat and has rolls! so adorable he is already flipping from his stomach to his back i put him on his tummy for tummy time and turn my head and he is back on his back it makes hard to get his tummy time in! and when i go check on him in the middle of night and morning when i come in to get him he totally turned around from where i put him he is a little shaker and mover! so fun.

Baby Eli

We have internet now! how we went without it for 3 months i have no idea... well Eli was born 8/23 at 6:23 pm 9 pds 9 oz and two and half weeks early. Good thing we were induced early becuase of pre clampsia i consired that a blessing now otherwise i would of had a 11 pounder! i went in to have a nonstress test at 11:30 am and they decided to just have me induced that day becuase of the results. i was not ready for this no bag packed had nothing ready for jace sitter and bag packed. i didn't even shower that day. so they induced me at 2:30 pm i asked for my epidural at 3:45 but right at the exact moment their were two emergencies so i couldn't get my epidural i finally got it at 5:30 when i was a six.now i know there are alot of people who have thier babies naturally i for one did not want to be part of that crowd :) i like my drugs. so i was not prepared didn't know how to breath and was freaking out cuase i thought i was going to have eli naturally. but i got it at 5:30 and eli was born 40 minutes later so igot my drugs just in time. i was only in labor for like 4 hours so it was fast. i had him so fast that he came out looking very swollen and had a bruised mouth, nose and cheek. he is so different from what jace looked like he is chunky and everything! jace has adjusted well too to my surprise i thought it was going to be rough but he ignored him for the first two weeks and then just got jealous when i fed him he would come and sit by me and cuddle with me and eli i kind of like it..i really like it :) i was stuck on the couch for awhile cuase they would both fall asleep on me and i couldn't move but all in all it was nice.

Well I'm writting this from my phone so sorry if it's sloppy. We don't have Internet right now. Well I'm 38 weeks on tues the 24 that is the day they r inducing me. My due date was originally sept 7 but I have been diagonsed with toxiema so I have been put on bed rest for the last week it is a mild case or they would have already taken the baby. I'm glad I was just diagosed with at the end becuase not taking care of Jace has been hard and watching my house become a nightmare has been hard for me but I have great neighbors and family that have been wonderful to us. Well that's the update for now

update on our house it's almost done we are so excited!! we do are walk threw this friday and are scheduled to sign on our house around the 19th. it's finally here after 5 months of living with parents never thought it would happen! i'm excited for jace to finally have a home to be raised in. :) yeah!

YUP we are having another boy! we r excited i always just kinda felt like the next one was a boy too.. so i wasn't surprised. The doctor says he is measuring big one pound 2 oz already i guess thats like the 95%.My due date is sept 7th but my doc was incouraging me too induce a week earlier becuase he was measuring so big. Jace was 8 pds 11 oz so i think i might induce at least a couple of days early i dont wan't to have a bigger baby than jace come out ha ha. I was induced with jace and loved it i'm glad i might be able to do that again if the baby doesn't decied to come out early? which i would be surprised if that happened.

It was are turn to go to my family's house for christmas this year i was so excited!! we stayed for two weeks and had so much fun too! we went snowboarding justin ski's but that's ok haha. we also went snowshoeing that was really fun as well i almost like it as much as snowboarding! crazy i know jace had a a little bit more fun of christmas than last year being older helps but he was still hesistant he's so funny that way. anyway its been so long i dont even know what to write so i will keep it short.

I thought it was a great movie. they did a good job at following the book. but as you know the book was sad, depressing and boring for a good portion of book still a good book but thats the truth. So the movie was sad and depressing and boring becuase thats what actually happened but still i was say go see it can't wait for the next one!!

Halloween!!

So since are ward had a lot of stuff happen this year one being are church burnt down and we now have to drive 20 minutes to church instead of 5. and scheduling things is hard are ward decided to not do anything for halloween this year including trunk or treat which is fine. butt we marshall's wanted to still celebrate so we through a huge marshall family halloween party at jenn and jared's house everyone dressed up to the nine's including the adults. it was so awesome i thought everyone would dress up and that it wouldn't be that big of deal butt everyone DRESSED UP!! thier costumes we so funny! i was so proud of everyone it made the night so much for much, jusint's brother nathan and his family even travled down from marysvale to come to the party. and boy did they dress up! they were dawg the bounty hunter! man it was so funny i promised i wouln't post thier outfits but i have too!! sorry martine...we started by tricking or treating at i neighbor hood right by where we live since where we live isn't a neighborhood.i thought jace wouln't do so well i thought he was to young 17 months old. but he did awesome he walked run to every ones house it was so much fun justin was a army man, i was a cat, and jace was a monkey he hated the costume and would absolutley wouln't wear the monkey hat that completed to custome but oh well. my parents came down for halloween i was so excited for them to be their i loved having them their my mom helped my make the desserts for the halloween party i couldn't decide what dessert to make so i made them all you know how you tell your self oh i will make this next year but you never do... well thats why i went over bored i wanted to make sure i made them. i made cookies, cupcakes, spiderweb cheescake, and graveyard cookie pizza. it was so yummy!! we did a cake walk and challeged each other to a donut eating contest. we had so much fun! jace only made it through the trick or treating and then he went to bed he couldn't make it through the party but thats are boy he likes to go to bed early and love that he does ha ha!! some of the costumes were janet was a reporter from fox news, berkley was a ceral killer it was so funny the grandkids were scared of him they wouldn't go near him with his wig on.. jenn and jared were pirates, trisha was one of those people who mim they dont' talk, will is a police officer so michelle dressed up in his uniform and will and the two girls were here jail birds it was so cute!! anyway halloween was a blast!! there is a new post after this one it's not on the page though so look so more

Pumpkin Carving

Even though we moved to logandale i still wanted to do the same traditions we did with my family in utah. So we got together for a marshall family pumkin carving at jenn and jareds house. The only way they had ever carved pumkins was by carving their own faces but i introduced them to pumkin carving kits they all loved it. I was so surprised with the amount of kids we had running around that it was going to be a mad house butt it wasn't all kids were way into carving their own pumpkins we only had one major accident dalton cut his finger butt it was no big deal. We had so much fun of course i made my moms traditional hot apple cidar can't pumpkin carve with out it. Are pumpkins didn't make it to halloween forgot how hott it is here but oh well it was still a fun activity.

Silly me!! ha ha a couple of weeks ago the field across the street from our house they forgot to turn off their share of the water so it flooded around are house and made it really muddied. but what i forgot was that the mud here is different becuase the dirt is clay not dirt so i was taking the back way that goes right beside and behind my house to go to janets house aka grandma and i totally got stuck i had to get out of my car grab the diaper bag and jace and walk back to my house and call someone to come pick me up it was so funny every one was laughing at me. and in the process i lost my flip flops in the mudd and they were my favorite too!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACE!!

Well Jace just turned 1 on june 13th. so crazy how fast they grow up. we had a hectic birthday jace and i traveled up north together last wed to be with my family we were having a family reunion at my parents house on Jace's birthday it was fun still. i wanted to go since i was having jace last year during the reunion and wasn't able to go. it was so fun to see all my cousin's married and with their first baby's as well.

We ended up celebrating his b-day that night at 7:30 after everyone had left but by then jace was cranky and just wanted to go to bed. so Sunday morning we tried again even though it wasn't technically his b-day he wasn't sure how he felt about his cake even after he tried the frosting he could of cared less ha ha it was so funny. we drove back home Sunday so that we could be back for his birthday party at grandma Marshall house. we had a double b-day party since his cousin lynsie b-day just one after his. we celebrated theirs together is was so much fun!! Jace got a monster tonka truck from his dad which was so cool he loved it. anyway tired and need sleep since now that i live in Nevada it's so hot i have to get up at 6 am to go running so i can beat the heat!! PS only 3 pounds until i reach my pre preggers weight ya me!! it's been a lot of hard work! but it was worth it i am now wearing my pre preggers jeans shorts and shirts hooray!! love you all tootles! :)

Angels and Demons

Went out on saturday night and saw this movie i thought it was really good action packed kept my entertained and on my toes. sitting next to Justins brother jared also helped with keeping me entertained he kept saying the funniest things.. I didn't even read the book but the movie was easy to follow and very good i thought. It is kinda gruesome in some parts but i have justin thier for me for those parts i just close my eyes and he tells me when to open them. haha i know i'm a wuss i just dont like blood even if it's fake. anyway you should all go see it very very good.

Jace is now 10 months and walking all over the place. It's so funny i watch him run around like he's a big person yet he still has no teeth it's so wierd... ha ha Well a lot has been going on around here for Justin is finally graduating in two weeks on may first!! yes school is finally over!! Second we are finally moving out of the basement apartment we have lived in for 4 years so crazy never thought i would see the day. We are moving to logandale neveda where justin is from. He is going to be working in Vegas for his brother. It's a crazy change and but i think it's a good one we are ready for a change. anyway here are some cute pic's of jace i'm tired so i'm heading to bed.

One week till 9 months

It's so crazy how fast life passes us by i thought i would never make it the 6 to 8 weeks everyone told me it would take to get used to the whole baby thing and now Jace is almost 9 months old and practically almost walking! It is so fun to see your child learn all the new things they learn everyday and it seems they so it all at once then they take a couple of months off and then they start doing a whole bunch of new things all over again. Jace has passed the mile stone of being able to eat finger foods himself which is so fun to see his little fingers pick up food and shove it in his mouth! He's been making noises for awhile now but now he is actually trying to talk noises he just started that two days and he hasn't shut up since but oh how i LOVE IT!! but now i really have to watch because he started putting anything and everything in his mouth already had are first scare yesterday.. boy i don't like that feeling :) and now that jace has conquered crawling standing up and standing up with no help i mean by having a hand on the couch you know.. he is all about walking it's so crazy by crazy i mean WONDERFUL!! it took his first steps yesterday (Saturday) we went over to my moms to fill up are emergency essentials two week supply of water from my moms pure water tap and i was walking with jace and i let him try to walk to my mom and he took 4 steps with no help to her it was the most amazing feeling to me! i know it's going to be crazy when he is walking but there is no stopping jace once he wants to something so i might as well try and help him so he is happy. :) then today we went over for Sunday dinner and he walked to Justin about 3 steps and then to me about 4 steps it was so cool i wish i had it on tape or a picture but it was all such i surprise so i have to write about it.

anyway on to other stuff that doesn't involve kids ha ha which is my life so this is going to be pretty short. ha ha Was everyone else as excited about the warm weather as i have been the last couple of days i actually been able to take jace jogging again outside and not freeze are butts off i can't wait for the nice weather to stay!! I am also excited about basketball i have been playing free style basketball with woman in my stake for about 2 months now and i love it so i signed up to play regional bball in march where they are really games with ref's so fun.. its so nice to play sports again i love playing sports it makes feel good and like my own person aside from being a mother. and the girls are really good that show up every week so it's been fun and challenging which i love. i just need to get in better shape which i have been trying to do so I'm getting their just slowly but anyway got to go jace is waking up

Recap from dec 9th till now

Sorry guys i know its been a long time but a lot has happened in our busy lives. I'll do a short summary.
1. December we went to Justin parents house in logandale Nevada were their for over two weeks in was really fun. and we DIDN'T GET SICK!!! yeah!! if you didn't know that was the first time we never got sick while down their for Christmas. Jace started moving like crazy down their because all of his nieces and nephews are walking and running all over the place he wanted to keep up with them. and so he first starting crawling at the end of 6 months at grandpa and grandma Marshall's house.

2. we got home he was crawling all over the place crawling in circles around house it was fun. some peoplethink that crawling is harder for them to watch their kids but with Jace crawling made my life much much easier because from the time he was born all he has wanted to do is move move move... he is a mover and a shaker that's for sure. after about a week and half to two weeks of crawling that ended up not being good enough for him he started pulling himself up on anything and everything and then acting like he could walk and just fall down i was geez kid slow down!! ha ha it's so fun to see all the stages your kids go through even if its earlier that you had anticipated so this is the beginning of is 7 month in January.

3. WE WENT ON A CRUISE WITHOUT JACE!!!!!
and it was FABULOUS!!! So we went on a 5 day Cruise at the end of January to Mexico with only 2 stops Ensenada and Cabo san lucas we had already been their before on are last cruise but decided to go again anyway we went with Justin two brothers Jared and Nathan and their wives. I have to say the best part of the cruise was sleeping all through the night with know interruptions! it was just a nice relaxing cruise we didn't do anything just relaxed it was so nice and weather was good too their was a few choppy nights with the waves but i had a patch on so that helped. Justin's parents watched Jace for us man did we appreciate that!! When i got back Jace didn't want anything to do with me i think he was mad at me he gave Justin two big hugs and i got nothing it tool him a couple of hours to warm up to me again. butt it was ok he had a blast with Janet and Berk.

4. Last week till now
Man this last week and half has been tough last week Jace was really sick sick enough he didn't even want to play for two days and if any of you know Jace that is not normal he is a crazy kid who never lets anything slow him down. I remembered people telling me how their kids got ear infections and how miserable they are. well i finally took Jace into the doctor on Friday and it turned out he had Pneumonia and a ear infection i was shocked i was like he has what!! so that was a little scary but we got him on antibiotics since Friday and he is doing way better acting like his old self again minus talking way longer naps than normal. so i have been stuck in the house for a week and half now because i am just keeping Jace inside away from the cold. needless to say i haven't had any sleep for that long man it's crazy what we moms can do... now that he is acting like his old self again he is all over the place pulling books off the book shelf crawling under are kitchen chairs grabbing everything and trying to walk at the same time i love it!! anyway i tried to make this as short as possible here are some pictures

Today i introduced sweet potato's to him i think he likes eating solids but i don't think he likes sweet potato's so i can't wait for 4 days to pass so i can try another flavor on him. Oh and he loves his high chair he sat in it today and watched me make banana bread. thank you Jace!! Jace has started to scoot across the floor in the picture above i had him right in front of the pillow so if he fell backwards he wouldn't bonk his head and the next thing i know he is all the way across the room. He also has started to crawl only backwards ha ha. When he is on his stomach he starts to push him self backwards he doesn't do it all the time just sometimes he mainly goes in a circle. Its so crazy these kids they don't spread things out ever everything happens all at once in one week then it goes boring for another month or so it's so crazy to me! oh bye the way I LOVE CHRISTMAS!! it is so crazy that it is already that time again time fly's. well Justin needs the computer so i guess i will call this good.

Just saw twilight i was expecting it to be a little corny and to not like Edward. ended up loving Edward, Bella was just alright but good the only one i didn't like very much was Rosalie everyone else was right on i thought. What i thought was funny was three of the main characters all starred on the the late TV show The OC funny huh..Very good give it a A+ MAN I WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN

Doctors Appointment

Well Jace had his 4 month appointment today technically his 5 months appointment because he is 5 months but oh well. Its pretty cool my doctor has these clinics with about 5 to 6 mothers with babies the same age and you meet together for every appointment and talk about your babies and the doctor talks about the different stages your baby will be going through until the next meeting. I love it they are so informative and i learn so much what to stress about what doesn't need stressing it's so nice. Here is Jaces progress so far

So i know I'm horrible about keeping up this blog i usually update this thing at nights but i started working out in the evenings after i put Jace to bed at 8 o'clock every night nice huh! but he is a earlier riser and i refuse to get up before 6 to work out. Anyways about two weekends ago we went to marysvale to hang out with Justin family's and to enjoy the nice weather and boy it was nice the whole family decided to go 4 wheeling up the canyon for a picnic and to hike a short hike to a waterfall we had so much fun!! Justin and i went in a two seater rhino that had real seats and seat belts and yes we took Jace with us i held him the whole time he loved it!! i had to force him to eat he didn't eat for 3 and half hours he usually eats every 2 and half that was how happy he was to be outside and he loved 4 wheeling he kept looking around at everything as fast as he could it was so funny to see is eyes moving so fast. I wish i had a picture to post with us on the 4 wheeler i know Janet has some on her camera i need to get them from her. I know some people were like you took Jace 4 wheeling?? like sceptical but i love 4 wheeling and the only way i could go is if Jace went with me so i did what i did and i don't care! ha ha That weekend was the funniest weekend I've ever had up at marysvale for sure.

So Halloween as just passed and it was so fun we went to another Halloween party at my brother in laws cabin up sundance with all my sisters friends and some of mine we all meshed well so it was fun. Since Jace goes to bed at 8 every night without fail except last night it was 7:30, my mom babysat him at her house cause he was easy he just slept the whole time.
It was so nice to go and chill at the party and just be Justin and i and friends. Here are some cute pic's of Jace in his Halloween costume he was a tiger. Justin went as i biker like the spandex shorts with padding the butt he wore a helmet and a camolpack it as so funny!! for those of you who know my dad he looked just like him when he goes riding!! and for those of you have never seen ugly betty that is who i dressed up as minus the braces and watch. Totally off the subject but

this time change is killing me Jace goes to bed at 8 right at gets up a 7. well Sunday he went to bed at 7 cause to him that's 8 and got up at 6 man i was so tired!! and Justin was sick so he couldn't watch him so that i could take a nap!! arggghh.. ha ha anyways it's so crazy you think that it will take forever for your kids to start doing things but then they surprise you last week Jace all the sudden decided he only likes sitting up so began sitting up and after 3 days he could sit up on his own minus fallin over to the side when he would grab for things on his side i just sit behind him with him in between my legs and let him sit for as long as he wants too. Its so crazy me the week before he wasn't sitting up and now he is so weird!! butt good. He's looking like he's going to start crawling soon too i give him by the end of month beginning of December. not looking forward to that if my predictions are true!! so here is a cute pic of him going to church he looked to cute!!

He's starting to teeth two he's almost got his first tooth in oh i mean second tooth his first broke through the second night after he was born! And I'm tired once again cause i was watching Jace last night when i should have been sleeping but he was so funny he is a toss and turner now i guess every time i would wake up he would be in a totally different position like couple upside down from the way i layed him down at and he even flipped on his stomach as slept like that for awhile so weird we have one crazy cute mover on are hands

Friday Sept 5th
Well I've bee sick with flu bug the cold flu bug that is. I got sick Tuesday night i was so sick Justin took off work on wed to watch Jace my mom watched Jace on Thursdays Fri i really needed someone but their was none so jace played on the floor all day while i layed on the couch and watched him. bUT the cool thing is on Friday Jace was playing on his back under the jungle gym and i looked away for a moment and when i looked at him again he had rolled over onto his stomach i was like what the... then right in front of my eyes he kicked rolled himself back onto his back i was so shocked he just turned three months that day. Well the Thursday i was sick was Jace's 2 month check up and my mom took jace well we have determined that Jace is a skinny little bugger ha ha.

head 20% a little small right now
height 80% really tall for his age
weight 12 pd 4 oz 40% a little light for his age but its ok

You know whats funny when Jace was being weighed and he was all naked the first thing the doc said was woo that kids all muscle!! Jace may be skinny but he is all muscle that's for sure.
So the doc recommended that Jace all babies for that matter should not watch TV or computer screen i guess it stimulates their brain differently than their toys and being outside and stuff. I was sad to here that cause he loves watching TV but oh well will do what the doc says. He also told me to start to putting Jace on his tummy 10 times a day for 5 minutes well i just started doing that on Sunday that's when i started to feel better and today i put him on his stomach the 4 time and just rolled over like it was nothing and starting playing with his toys so i put him back on his stomach and he just did it again it was so funny to see the look on his face when he rolled over it was a surprised look but it only lasted for a sec. i thought it was so funny!!!

We blessed Jace today and it was wonderful!! He was fussy right before church started but then as soon as church started he settled down and during the blessing he was awesome he didn't make a sound so we were able to hear justin bless him. That was a blessing in itself. :) It was so great to hear all the wonderful things justin blessed him with and to think of all things he could do when he gets older. All and all it was a wonderful day. We missed all you who couldn't make it!! anyway time to go to bed i'm so tired!!

Breaking Dawn

Well I've been waiting and waiting for this book to come out!! I finished reading it and i thought it was really good the first and second book are still my favorites. Breaking dawn did go in a whole different direction then i thought it would and it was boring in some parts wasn't as exciting or romantic as the first books but it was still entertaining and captivating. I'm sad that this series is over and yet happy that it is over cause i hated waited years for the next book. HA HA Now i can't wait for the Twilight movie coming out in November!! :)

Well i haven't written anything in awhile so i thought i would write whats been going on. Well Jace is now 11 pounds 6 oz's he is a growing boy! His weight and height is in the average range and his head is in the 25% range. So he's trucking along like he should despite having acid reflux and a milk allergy. Well now that we have Jace on the milk allergy formula he is a new baby and i have my life back!! I think I've finally got the hang of this mother thing.. ha ha it only took 8 weeks but I've started to do normal day activities. I used to wonder how do all these mothers in the world get anything done? Jace is 2 months old already so crazy it goes by so fast! He is such a funny boy he loves getting his diaper changed every time i set him on his changing table he starts smiling and he gets even happier when i start undressing him he loves being naked. Whenever he is screaming bloody murder the first thing i do is set him on his changing table it's so funny he stops crying immediately and starts looking around. He is a very awake alert baby always looking around and moving I'm afraid i have a very active child! I'm worried my mom says he is like me and that scares me cause i was a very very active little kid my mom was always losing me so will see how it goes... Justin has finally finished school this summer he took 18 credits this summer that is a lot for summer and got all A's maybe a B in all class's for some reason school agrees with him I'm so proud of him!! School never agreed with me...
Oh and random thought i'm going CRAZY i forgot to pre order BREAKING DAWN and have had to wait all week for it to be mailed to my house!! costco, target, walmart, desert book were all sold out... i'm going CRAZY i've waited so long for this book i can't wait to read it!!

Update on baby Jace

Well jace started having weird bowel movements with blood in the stool come to find out he has a milk allergy. So my options were a milk free diet or formula. For everyone who doesn't know this cause i sure didn't realize milk is in EVERYTHING so if i decided to keep on breastfeeding i would only be able to eat fruit vegetables and meat with no sauce or seasoning and for someone who doesn't particularly like meat this diet seemed unreal. So i am now formula feeding him a really expensive allergy free formula hopefully after next weeks meeting with the doctor we can switch to a less expensive kind of formula. But I'm glad we took him in i was really worried when i saw blood in is stool. We took him in for a after hours appointment last night I'm glad we did after feeding him formula all night long he hasn't spit up as much his poop is starting to look normal again and i think he is feeling better so far. I know this might sound bad but now that Jace is formula feeding i can have chocolate!!! man i have been craving chocolate since he was born!! I'm just glad we are finally getting Jace to feel better because like all you mothers out their no there is nothing more frustrating than a baby not feeling good and you not knowing how to help them. anyway that's it for now got to go feed the little monkey!! ha ha

Whats been going on since Jace arrived

Well since Jace has arrived we have been really busy. It was one thing right after another. First Jace ended up having Juandice i don't know how to spell that. So he had to be under the lights in a suite case it was a hard week i wouldn't have lasted if my mom hadn't stayed the week with me. He cried all night long the first night home i thought it was because he wanted to be held and loved and not under the lights which i think was part of the reason he cried but we found out the next day that he had a tooth on the bottom front of his mouth that broke through the gums that night. Everyday that first week i had to take Jace to the hospital to be poked and get blood drawn for his jaundice and on top of that we had to take him to a pediatrician dentist and ended up having to get his tooth pulled on Thursday the 19th so that was another fun night of him crying all night long because his mouth was hurting him. The dentist made it sound like it wasn't a big deal and that it wouldn't hurt him boy did i under estimate him. It surely did hurt him and i learned the hard way that i should have waited a couple more days to get that tooth pulled but it is all over with now so what can you do. And on top of all this Jace is a spitter i have been drenched by him so many times i stopped putting clothes on him ha ha.. so he has been a naked boy the last couple of weeks for most of the time. But the things have been getting better one Thing good is once the weekend came and Jace and i finally had a normal day of being just at home he sleeps all night long except for waking up for feedings every two hours which saved my life because he wasn't sleeping during the day or night that first week i thought i was going to die. People kept telling me it gets better man i was like really ya right it gets better. but it did and it is getting better we just had a few obstacles to get through first. This morning we ended up taking Jace to a chiropractor who specializes in babies and pregnant women. I heard through the lactation specialist that i had come and help me with feeding Jace which was another problem i was having was that he would only eat on one side for 6 minutes and be completely out sleeping and couldn't be woken up. So it was hard cause he would only sleep for 1 hour and 20 minutes and be hungry again and if he spit up which he often did he got hungry even sooner which is why i was getting no sleep. Lactation specialist helped me out with that and now Jace is eating better and sleeping better. She recommended that i get him looked at by this chiropractor and said that one reason babies spit up and don't eat as well one side than another is that their spine is off and it makes it so they cant turn their head as well on side than another. She was also telling me that most people just assume that their babies have reflux which is one thing i was thinking Jace had and sometimes they do have reflux but another thing is they just need some adjusting so we are going to see if that is what Jace needed was adjustment. we go back for a check up on Wed. Anyway that is what has been happening so far. oh we also found out the he has a hernia under his belly button which is why it sticks out so far. The doctor says that is normal and that it should go away before he turns two. So my pregnancy was easy and perfect the labor was easy and uncomplicated so i guess i couldn't have everything be perfect ha ha.. Jace is a healthy normal baby boy so i guess that is all i can ask for he just had a rough couple of weeks. So far today i can see a difference in Jace from his adjustment he had this morning. I'm so thankful for my mom and all the people she knows who could help me out with my problems and making it easier for me to be a good mom to Jace and to know how to better help him Cause it was rough their for a while but i'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. oh and Jace is gaining weight like a good boy he is now 9 pounds 5 ounces yeah!!

Well it's finally here! It's time for our little boy to come. I am schedule for a inducement for Friday the 13Th so crazy our little man is going to be here tomorrow night hopefully. The Labor and delivery called and at 7 am tomorrow morning is when it all starts. I finally had my first contraction two nights ago i only had one it was in my back so at first i didn't know it was a contraction i thought it was a backache but then it turned into a deadly backache i thought i was going to die my first thought was holy cow those women who do labor with no drugs are brave that was painful!! That one and only contraction made it a no brainer that i was going to get a epidural. I mean i was planning on having one anyway... :) anyway i am excited to finally get our little boy here we still haven't picked out a name but he will have one by the time we leave the hospital. Any who just wanted to keep you informed since i probably won't have time to update this thing anytime soon!

Well I only have 2 days until my due date. So crazy you find out your prego and you think 9 months is so far away and that the day for you to give birth will never come. Well its here and I'm totally freaked out! and my first thought was what was i thinking theirs no turning back now their is only two ways for this baby to come out and both are not that fun to think about. HA HA :) but that's expected for a first time mom who has never given birth. I just look around at all these women with children and say they got through it i guess i will too. I'm kinda feeling like i wish i would just go into labor so i can get this experience over with but at the same time I'm glad i haven't i need a couple more days... anyway people keep on asking us if we have come up with a name and the for real answer is no we haven't we are not keeping it a secret for real we really haven't come up with a name. We are just going to bring a list of 5 or so of are favorite names and name him when we see him and see what name fits. We only have to come up with a first name because we already decided that his middle name is going to be Harley just like Justin who was named after his grandpa. Justin is getting more and more excited as i get more and more worried I'm excited too but the being worried is over shadowing the excitement feeling. :) oh well I'm as ready as a can be so now I'm just waiting... If i go over i am scheduled to be induced on Friday the 13th funny huh at least i know that Friday the 13 th will be my last day pregnant. I'm ready to not be prego anymore cause I'm freakin huge and can't wait to sleep on my stomach again ha ha well that's it for now I'm at work obviously working really hard. :)

Busy Life

Well a lot has been happening the last two weeks I had my baby shower on April 26Th which was so much fun!! Brittany graduated on Friday April 25Th so my grandma and other family members were in town for her graduation and were also able to make it to my baby shower. We planned it that way. I am so thankful for all the great and cute stuff everyone gave me at my shower it makes having a this baby even more fun. Specially since I'm not freaking out as much anymore because I'm a little more prepared for this little guy to come now. A little freaked out and nervous that i only have 4 weeks left but excited as well. I just hope he's healthy and that everything goes well.
Then this same weekend April 27Th my brother Andrew had is mission farewell man it was such a crazy fun busy weekend graduating, baby shower, and mission farewell. I have no idea how my mom pulled it all off she must have been going crazy. Good thing she had my sister to help she's good at these kinds of things cause me being huge and all I wouldn't have been much help. So we had another family get together along with friends of Andrew for a brunch at my moms house which was fun cause I was able to hang out with extended family I don't see very often. So it was a chaotic fun family weekend. :)
The very same week May 2 my Older brother Bryce Graduated and we had another family dinner to celebrate his graduating and all and then watched the Jazz play off game that was that night we couldn't miss that... It was so cool to see Bryce and Brittany graduate they worked so hard always studying instead of playing. Its fun now because they both have more spare time now and are less stressed so I have been able to hang with them more. Then the last event my brother Andrew left for his mission on May 7Th. I went to the missionary MTC to send him off that was a really cool experience since i wasn't able to go with my two older brothers when they left because we lived in Spokane. Andrew was so ready to go on his mission he is one of those people who was born waiting and preparing for when they could go on their mission. He is going to a really cool area too Munich Germany which also includes Austria how cool is that. we saw a video and pictures of the area's he could be serving man they were so beautiful!! It's so weird that he's gone now he spent the last 3 months practically living at my house eating my food and playing video games with my hubby Justin. Now i wont see him for two years and are little guy will be 2 years old exactly when he returns. Anyway that was are jam packed two weeks of chaos throw in a friends baby blessing and Justin's and mine birthing classes We were little busy bodies. I'm so glad i can just relax now its fun going to things but it's also nice to just chill at home on the couch.

Finally last Saturday April 18th Justin and I got around to cleaning out the babies room. It's so frustrating now that I'm pregnant because I'm really independent if i want something done i just go ahead and just do it myself. But now that I'm preggers i have to depend on other people and their schedules to get things done because we pregnant people can't lift heavy objects. I was so happy on Saturday when i didn't even have to beg or bribe or throw a nesting faze pregnant crying fit to get Justin to help spring clean the house and clean and organize the babies room. He just helped me and was even in a good mood about it. I was so surprised because i have been wanting to get the babies room ready for awhile now. I'm one of those people who like to be ready ahead time and plan ahead it just helps me relax. We got so much done too it felt so good were not all the way finished yet but we are almost there. I am so pleased with are crib we ordered it online off of reviews from Walmart the site to store option they give saves a bundle on shipping. We also bought the crib bedding online it took me forever to find a crib set i loved i decided i didn't want a themed room and nothing to babish. Just my preference.
I received the baby crib set first before the crib and was worried the brown colors in the blanket wouldn't match the crib but i was so glad when i put it in the crib and how good it looked at least i think it looks good. ha ha :) W e also ordered a dresser from Walmart but it was different brand than the crib but still the espresso color i was worried the two espresso colors wouldn't' match but they match perfectly!! Man that was a a relief . It's so exciting getting all the babies stuff together specially since i only have 7 weeks left so crazy I'm so excited to get are little boy here.

Fun Weekend

Well last weekend we went to the Clark County Fair in Logandale Nevada, it is a tradition for us every year. It was so fun we went to the rodeo Friday and Saturday night. Saturday was definitely the best night to go because there was a huge wind storm on Friday night and if anyone has ever been to Logandale, it is a desert so it was a dusty wind storm. You can tell by my wind blown hair
In this picture i don't know why i spent time actually doing my hair oh well. ha ha.. We had lots of fun eating the outrageous priced fair food but who can pass up the dessert crepe's and funnel cakes i know i can't ha ha. I think i gained 5 pounds over that weekend good thing I'm prego so you couldn't tell because i was already huge. :) It was really fun seeing my in-law's since i don't get to see them very often, them being 6 hours away and all. It was a little chaotic but so much fun with all the family their for the fair we had 4 babies under a year old, 2 to half year olds, two 4 year olds, and a eight year old, we ended up baby sitting on Saturday along with Justin's sister's man they really tuckered us out. It was getting me prepared for my own baby coming in June. Justin was tired he ended up taking a nap along with one of his niece's they slept for a good hour. It was so cute Justin is going to be a really good dad. We enjoyed our weekend of fun with family specially since i took two days off of work to go :).

First of all I LOVE this movie!! My moms friend bought this for my mom for her birthday so my sister and I watched it with her on Saturday during priesthood. First of all my mom was like it's a 4 hour movie and my first thought was 4 hours..... oh man i hope i make it through the movie ha ha. Holy cow I never thought i would say this because nothing compares to Pride and Prejudice the movie starring Colin Firth. but this movie was as good or better than Pride and Prejudice I know I know I couldn't believe it either because I love Pride and Prejudice but I loved this movie just as much as or more than Pride and Prejudice. I am now looking for the book on amazon and can't wait to read it! For those of you who are a Mr. Darcy fan like me the Mr. Darcy in North and South is just as good or better I could not believe it. I can't wait to watch this movie again hopefully I can find an extra 4 hours to spare again to watch it.

Well once we have our baby and get a life i will have more interesting things to write about but for now i love my bubby!! ha ha Well i love watching animal planet. Yeah i know I'm a nerd! but today Jax decided to watch it with me. He was so into the TV all the dogs and animal noise's it was so cute! But then he tried to find where the noise were coming from he got so confused he kept looking behind the screen to see where the dogs went! and then he started looking in the bathroom which is right behind the TV it was so funny he was so confused! I felt kinda a sorry for him but it was so funny! Jax started to get so confused he started putting his nose up to the TV and he almost jumped onto the TV that's when it started to become not so funny... ha ha we love are TV so to get him to stop watching the TV i had to turn the TV off and let him forget about the dogs he saw. So now I'm not allowed to watch the animal planet when Jax is in the room.

well I'm 26 weeks prego now crazy huh! and feeling like a huge heffer ha ha but oh well comes with the territory. so the house we are renting the basement in right now has been for sale now for 11 months and finally just sold. Justin and i were counting on the people who bought the house would want us to stay but i started to loose faith and started panicking but are prayers were answered. A couple of days a young couple with one child and one on the way bought the house and they previously asked if we wanted stay. so we are are thrilled they are a really cool family and we don't have to MOVE!! and they are going to let us keep are dog not inside though but i can live with that. i hope Jax can too! ha ha i think its going to be hard for him we have spoiled him so bad. so that was good news moving and being pregnant was not going to be fun but now i don't have to worry about it. So everything has been working out and running smoothly for now which is a huge blessing.

Yesterday was our first ultrasound for are first baby! so exciting we have been patiently waiting for this appointment.(well maybe not me) ha ha we were rescheduled for two days later which ended up being yesterday. Justin had Convinced Himself we were having a girl. He secretly wanted a boy. So funny well at the ultrasound we found out that we are expecting a very healthy boy!!:) so EXCITING Justin was thrilled cause he really wanted a boy. So now we are excited and can start planning are little boys room and preparing for his arrival. i was measuring big so they moved my due date from June 14th 4 days before my b-day to June 7 2008 which is my dads b-day. So fun
